Joining the TFA
Membership in the TFA is required in order to actually play.
ACTOR CHARACTERS may be played by non-members in order to check out TFA and to see if it is right for you.
Check on the restrictions for ACs in each game system.
Former members of TFA receive a 50% discount on NEW memberships. Just bring in your old membership cards, OR have at least 2 other former members that can verify that you were a member, OR hope that your name is still on the mailing list.
Membership INCLUDES the first game you are going to play.
Membership is currently $20 (US) and can be paid in cash or check, OR can be paid in old TFA brass coins, at a rate of 10 per $1. We need to get back the old coinage for circulation in the game system.
Membership forms and cards will be available at registration prior to each game. Come early enough to actually fill out the forms and ask your questions.
Membership will have its privileges including free events and discounts from vendors, as well as tips on playing and TFA forum access.
Requirements
Basic mobility is required in order to play TFA. We are usually out in rough terrain and wooded areas. Basic costumes are required for all games. See rules for individual games on costuming.
Minimum age is 16 yrs. old IF accompanied by a parent or LEGAL guardian that is also playing. 18 years of age is the minimum for all other players.
